Travel Trends AI Summit Virtual Event Ticket Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing a ticket for the 2024 Travel Trends AI Summit, you agree to comply with and be bound by the terms and conditions outlined herein. Please read these terms carefully before making a purchase.

2. Ticket Purchase and Fees

a. Tickets for the virtual event can be purchased through our event landing page here: https://www.accelevents.com/e/travel-trends-ai-summit.

b. All ticket prices are in USD and are subject to applicable taxes and fees.

c. Refunds will only be issued in accordance with the refund policy outlined in Section 4.

3. Access to the Virtual Event

a. Upon successful purchase, you will receive a confirmation email containing information on how to access the virtual event platform.

b. It is your responsibility to ensure that your device and internet connection meet the technical requirements for accessing the virtual event.

4. Refund Policy

a.  Tickets are non-refundable once purchased but can be transferred to another person for the event. When transferring to another person, please login to your AccelEvents account and update your account details to the person taking your ticket. If any questions, please reach out to hello@traveltrendspodcast.com no later than 48 hours prior to the event starting. (EOD, Monday, February 19th)  

5. Event Cancellation or Rescheduling

a. Travel Trends Podcast reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the virtual event for any reason. In the event of cancellation, ticket holders will be entitled to a full refund.

6. Code of Conduct

a. Attendees must adhere to the virtual event's code of conduct, which prohibits disruptive behavior, harassment, and any activity that violates the rights of others.

b. Travel Trends Podcast reserves the right to remove any attendee from the virtual event for non-compliance with the code of conduct without issuing a refund.

7. Personal Data Collection

a. In the course of purchasing a ticket and accessing the virtual event, Travel Trends AI Summit may collect personal information, including but not limited to:

• Full name

• Email address

• Billing and shipping address

• Payment details

• Organization Name

• Job Title & About Me Information

• Image

• Pronouns

• Country of Residency

• Linkedin Account URL

• Option to share your information listed above with Travel Trends AI Summit Sponsors

b. Travel Trends AI Summit will only collect personal data necessary for the fulfillment of your ticket purchase and the provision of virtual event services.

8.  Use of Personal Data

a. The personal data collected will be used for the following purposes:

• Processing ticket purchases and issuing confirmations.

• Providing access to the virtual event platform.

• Sending event-related communications and updates.

b. Travel TrendsAI Summit  may also use aggregated and anonymized data for internal analysis and improvement of our services.

9. Data Security

a. Travel Trends AI Summit takes the security of your personal data seriously and implements reasonable measures to protect it from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.

b. While every effort is made to secure your data, please be aware that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. By participating in the virtual event, you acknowledge and accept these inherent risks.

10. Third-Party Service Providers

a. Travel Trends AI Summit may use third-party service providers to facilitate the virtual event and process payments. These providers are contractually obligated to handle your personal data in accordance with relevant data protection laws.

11. Data Retention

a. Travel Trends AI Summit will retain your personal data for the duration necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in Section 2 unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

12. Consent and Opt-Out

a. By purchasing a ticket and participating in the virtual event, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data as described in this section.

13. Data Subject Rights

a. You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data held by Travel Trends. To exercise these rights, please contact hello@traveltrendspodcast.com .

14. Changes to the Privacy Policy

a. Travel Trends AI Summit reserves the right to update or modify this privacy policy at any time. Any changes will be reflected on this page, and you are encouraged to review this policy periodically.

15. Intellectual Property

a. All content presented during the virtual event, including but not limited to presentations, videos, and materials, is the intellectual property of Travel Trends Podcast and may not be reproduced or distributed without permission.

16. Limitation of Liability

a. Travel Trends Podcast is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the virtual event platform.

17. Governing Law

a. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the province of Ontario, Canada.
